4800 Special Rubber & Plastic Adhesive

4800 Special Rubber & Plastic Adhesive is a single-component oil-based adhesive made from styrene-butadiene resin and polymer additives.

1. Characteristics:

Strong adhesion, low odor, aging resistance, soft adhesive film, fast bonding speed, and easy to operate.

2. Main bonding materials:

PE film, thick PVC film, PE board, rubber sheet, TPE foam sheet, EVA sheet, aluminum foil, melamine board, PVC foam board, iron sheet, aluminum sheet, leather, oil canvas, and other composite bonding. It can also be used for bonding composite of glass wool rolls, aluminum silicate needle-punched blankets, rock wool, and aluminum foil fabric films.

4. Usage method:

1. Clean and dry the bonding surfaces, removing oil, dust, water, etc.
2. Shake the adhesive well before use to prevent sedimentation, and open the cap to use.
3. Generally, apply glue on both surfaces; apply a thin layer without overcoating.
4. Allow the glue to air for 2–3 minutes before bonding.
5. After bonding, it can be moved in 5 minutes, reaches 80% adhesion in 2 hours, and fully sets in 24 hours.

5. Precautions:

1. Avoid inhalation and ingestion, and keep away from children.
2. Wear protective clothing and gloves during use, and keep the work area ventilated.
3. For unused adhesive, seal the bottle with plastic wrap and tighten the cap to prevent thickening.
4. Do not move freshly bonded products casually to avoid affecting adhesion.
5. This product is flammable, so keep away from fire during use and storage.
6. If the glued surface is exposed for more than 20 minutes, the adhesion will be invalid.
7. When the ambient temperature is below 5℃, the adhesive needs to be warmed before use.

7. Storage/Shelf life:

Store in a cool, dry place and keep sealed. Shelf life is 12 months.
